Dr. Vincent Dubravec, MD, FACAAI
Board Certified in Pediatric & Adult Allergy/Immunology
Dr. Dubravec attended college and medical school at the University of Illinois, followed by residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He completed Allergy-Immunology (adult and pediatric) training at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in the Denver area (affiliated with National Jewish Center), and went on staff at Brooke Army Medical Center (the Army's teaching hospital in San Antonio, TX) where he became Chief of Allergy & Immunology and served as affiliated staff at the Air Force's Allergy-Immunology training program at Wilford Hall Medical Center. After finishing his military obligation in 1999, he practiced in Kalamazoo, MI for 1 year, followed by 2 years in the Salt Lake City area while his wife finished her training. In 2002 he then returned to Michigan with his family to settle in the Grand Rapids Area and start his private Allergy practice.
In addition to providing personal care to his patients, he also continues teaching medical students and physicians in training as an Assistant Clinical Professor for Michigan State University. He has given community education talks pro bono, including PTO and school inservices, and was the coordinator for 2 free asthma screening programs, including one at Fifth Third Ballpark. He volunteered as the medical advisor for the Rockford Food Allergy Network. He enjoys 4 seasons outdoor activities with his family, including biking, sailing, and skiing, as well as playing/performing/composing music, especially jazz piano.
